The first tip is to find a component, knowledgable real estate agent that has a comprehensive marketing plan and listing presentation. How exactly will your agent market your property and give it the most exposure on the open market. Some agents are more proactive and aggressive in their market strategies than others. When meeting with a real estate agent to consider listing your home...ask what is their marketing plan and they should provide you with a list of all advertising venues. What is their success rate with advertising and how many leads do they get from this method?
Methods of attracting new homebuyers that give clients a powerful way to encourage interest in your listing and makes your home stand apart from the rest:1. Permanent Interest Rate Reductions - Discount points, paid by seller, permanently reduce a homebuyer's interest rate and lower monthly mortgage payments during the life of the loan.
2. Skip It - Sellers can grab the attention of interested homebuyers by offering to pay up to six months of monthly mortgage payments. The monthly mortgage payment consists of principal, interest, and all escrow items.
3. Temporary Interest Rate Reductions - A seller paid temporary interest rate reduction for up to three years of a homebuyer's loan means lower initial monthly payments and more cash on hand when a homebuyer needs it the most.
4. Buyer's Bonus - Similar to SkipIt, the seller pays only the principal and interest components of a homebuyer's monthly mortgage payment. The homebuyer remains responsible for paying all of the escrow items.
5. Single Premium Mortgage Insurance - Mortgage insurance can also be seller-paid in one single premium for the life of the homebuyer's loan.
